H.E. Humaid Mohamed Ben Salem

H.E. Humaid Mohamed Ben Salem was appointed as Secretary General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) in 2013.

H.E. Ben Salem is also a former member of the UAE National Assembly (Parliament) from 2012 to 2016. Prior to his tenure at the UAE National Assembly, H.E. was Director General of Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce & Industry for 20 years.  He has been on the Board of Directors of International Chamber of Commerce – UAE since 2009 and was elected Chairman in 2015.

In addition to the above, he has been instrumental in establishing several joint business councils and has always been active and regularly contributes to the projects pertaining to the private sector. He holds a BA degree in Administration and Marketing from Davis & Elkins College, United States of America.
