Ms. Mouna Kiwan
Ms. Mouna Kiwan is a Business Management professional and Food Law Legal Consultant specializing in food security, agriculture, and international trade. With extensive experience across Europe, the USA, and the Middle East, she brings deep expertise in regulatory frameworks, trade facilitation, and international business governance.
She currently serves as Director of the International Chamber of Commerce Syria (ICC Syria), overseeing strategic operations, international relations, and executive training. As a certified ICC trainer, she has delivered over 1,000 hours of training on Incoterms®2020, documentary credits, trade finance, negotiation, and communication for UNDP, universities, development programs, and private sector institutions.
Regionally, Mouna has held key roles with the Union of Mediterranean Confederation of Enterprises (BUSINESSMED), including Chair of the Digitalization Committee, Vice Chair of the Women & Youth Entrepreneurs Committee, and member of both the Green Deal and SME Internationalization committees. Her work spans multi-country collaboration to advance digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development across the Mediterranean.
Her earlier experience includes senior roles at Kuwait Syrian Holding Company, IBM Business Partners (Attar Bros.), and multiple leadership and corporate development projects.
Mouna holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Food Law from Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome and dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Sociology from Damascus University. She is fluent in Arabic, English, and German, with additional proficiency in French and Italian.
She is a member of the Syrian Business Council, the Syrian Economists Syndicate, and a long-standing JCI Senator (#82823), contributing to international leadership, public relations, and community development.
