Mr. Otar Tabutsadze

Mr. Otar Tabutsadze is a trade finance professional with more than 15 years of experience in Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Corporate Banking, and Financial Sector Development across Georgia and the wider region. He currently serves as Head of Global Banking & Trade Finance at Terabank, where he leads the bank’s international banking strategy, oversees the Trade Finance Department, and drives the expansion of Supply Chain Finance, introducing factoring and warehouse-receipt financing solutions to support SMEs and corporate clients.

Alongside his banking leadership roles, Otar has worked as a consultant and strategist with international development programs and fintech initiatives. He advises on the digitalization of trade finance, including blockchain-enabled instruments, smart-contract workflows, and the modernization of SCF ecosystems.

Prior to joining Terabank, Otar held senior positions at PASHA Bank Georgia, Liberty Bank, and Bank of Georgia, where he contributed to building high-performing trade finance units, launching factoring operations, securing major IFI partnerships, and managing portfolios. He has been a panel speaker at multiple international conferences, including events organized by ICC, FCI, IIBLP, and other global industry bodies.

Otar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, and is certified in a wide range of trade finance disciplines.
